Our Schedule

This competition starts on November 6, 2013 and will conclude on December 11, 2013. We meet at least one week in some capacity, whether it be discussing healthy eating habits or putting something we have learned into practice!

Week 1: What to eat for Breakfast? (First weigh- in)

 

Week 2: Benefits of walking, Group walk at Westgate Mall

 

Week 3: Before you open the fridge! Healthier Snack Options (Progress Report Weigh in)

 

Week 4: Thanksgiving Day aka "Unbutton the jeans"

 

Week 5: Healthier dinner options (Weigh-in)

 

Week 6: Finale Week, Hub City Farmer's Market (Final weigh-in)

Lose Big, Gain Big recently partnered with "The Hub City Farmer's Market in Spartanburg. After a Wednesday night worship service, members of the market awaited the Sigsbee Congregation with samples of Butternut squash and Collard Green and Garlic salad! In the future, congregation members will venture to the market in order to participate in Nutrition classes.
